Military Appreciation Day

The 2009 N.C. State Fair will pay tribute to members of the U.S. Military for their service to the country on Wednesday, October 21. The day will feature special activities and performances by military bands.

Active duty, reserve and National Guard service members or spouses with valid military ID will be admitted free along with four guests. The day is filled with concerts on the Waterfall Stage. Stay tuned for a full schedule of events.

11:45 a.m. - Alicia Grant, local singer performing original, patriotic music
Noon - Welcoming Ceremony
12:15 - 1:30 p.m. - 2nd Marine Division Band
3 - 4:30 p.m. - JROTC Review
4:45 - 6 p.m. - US Air Force Blue Aces
