*Online sales are print-at-home tickets. Each ticket purchased online will be assessed a convenience fee (ranges from 5-15%). The ride sheets will be a print-at-home coupon to be redeemed at the Fair for the actual ride sheet.
**All current and former military service members – including active-duty, reserve, National Guard, retired and veteran personnel – can take advantage of the new military admission price of $5 every day of the N.C. State Fair, Oct. 13-23. Military discount tickets, which save nearly 38% off the regular adult admission price of $8, are not available in advance or online. Instead, eligible fairgoers should present proof of military service at the gate on the day of their visit. Spouses and children with military IDs also will be eligible for the discount.

Frequently Asked Questions:
How many tickets are needed for each ride?
Kiddie rides are typically two to four tickets each. Larger rides are three to five tickets each and spectacular rides can be as many as six to eight tickets each.
Ride tickets cannot be used for carnival games. You do not need tickets for the games, just cash. Most games take at least $1 to play.

Can I exit the gates and re-enter the Fair on the same day?
Yes, as long as you get your hand stamped before exiting the gates, you can re-enter on the same day.

Dorton Entertainment
Online sales begin on Aug. 1 and will end the day of the concert unless it sells out beforehand. Tickets are print-at-home. Once the Fair starts, tickets can be purchased at the North Dorton Box Office outside Dorton Arena or online. Concert tickets sold online will be charged a 15% convenience fee.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for all shows. All concerts start at 7:30 p.m.

Group Discount Tickets
Gather your PTA group, neighborhood association, church club, or any other group of 40 or more people, and take advantage of the Group Ticket Discount.
Purchase 40 or more adult tickets in advance of the fair at the same time: $5 per ticket
Saves you $3 per ticket off the gate price of $8.
Group tickets can be purchased online or at the advance sales locations. The group discount only applies to advance sale tickets purchased Aug. 1 through Oct. 13.
Corporate Ticket Sales Program
