Dixie Deer Classic
Southeast’s largest outdoor show. Wake County Wildlife Club presents their 40th annual event designed to offer the latest in hunting equipment from more than 350 exhibitors. Seminars, displays, trophy scoring, and archery competition. Meet Special Guests: Jim Shockey (Saturday only), The Outdoor Channel - Bone Collector Team: Michael Waddell, Travis "T-Bone" Turner, and Nick Mundt. Special Features: NTWF Turkey Callers Competition, Call Makers Competition, Trail Cam, Video Contest, Ourdoor Lore, Carolina Dock Diving Dogs and for the kids a Sea Fishing Rodeo and Scavenger Hunt with prizes. Hours are Friday 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Saturday 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.; and Sunday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $15 for age 13 and older (get your hand stamped for return admission good all 3 days), children 12 and under are admitted free. StarQuest Performing Arts - Regionals Competition I - Raleigh

Dear Friends, our highest priority is the safety of our attendees and participants. In the spirit of caution, we have decided to postpone this year's event. Ticket refunds for the 2020 festival should be requested from the original outlet of purchase and requests will be honored through March 15, 2020.  Refunds will include only the ticket price and not transaction fees for electronic tickets.  Thank you for your support and understanding.   Please mark your calendar for February 26-28, 2021 - we'll make up for the missed celebration then!

7-8 Carolina Coin and Stamp Show 
Coins, postcards and stamps, currency (U.S., foreign, ancient, gold & silver) will be available. This is an educational show and trade show for collectors. Buy*Sell*Trade.  Dealers will be buying and selling foreign, domestic and ancient coins and currency.  Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday. Admission is free.

Celebrating our 14th annual FiberFest! CFF events are developed to help preserve and promote local farms, fiber animals and heritage crafts and provide a venue for the community to interact with the fiber arts world.   By demonstrating skills to the public, sharing knowledge, and through the close interaction of classes, Carolina FiberFest sows the seeds for future generations of fiber artists, crafts people and fiber producers/farmers. Drawing fiber enthusiasts from the surrounding area and beyond, Carolina Fiberfest is a family-friendly event featuring classes, free demonstrations, and shopping for yarn, ready to spin fiber, patterns, tools, accessories, and specialty items. Thank you all for your input. As you all may have heard, the cases of Corona virus have increased in Wake County. Regrettably, we have to cancel our Lebanese Festival for the time being. This decision was not taken lightly, but it is the right one for the sake and well being of our community and the responsible thing to do to help prevent with the spread of the infection. I know many of you are disappointed as we are too, especially after all the hard work and the efforts of our participants and volunteers. 14-15 India Fest - A Cultural Arts Showcase **


Due to coronavirus concerns, the Nuv Yug Cultural Organization has decided to postpone the 17th annual India Fest. The event originally scheduled for March 14 & 15 will now be held during June 6 & 7, 2020 at the Jim Graham Building at the NC State Fairgrounds, Raleigh.
All vendor and participant registrations will be automatically transferred to the new event dates. Full refund is being offered to those who wish to cancel due to date change. Vendors and participants may also choose to give a donation to Nuv Yug in lieu of a refund. The Nuv Yug Cultural Organization is a registered non-profit 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization.

Persian New Year starts on the 1st day of the Spring. Traditionally Persians celebrate the last Tuesday night of the year which is called Chaharshanbe-Souri or the Wednesday Feast. Championship Purebred AKC event - registered dogs will compete each day in championship dog shows, obedience and rally trials.  A different Kennel Club hosts competitions each day. The schedule is:

Thursday - Alamance Kennel Club;
Friday - Durham Kennel Club;
Saturday - Raleigh Kennel Club;

Equestrian Exchange Tack Consignment Sale is North Carolina's largest equine item consignment sale. It offers the opportunity to buy and sell any equestrian tack, saddles, show clothing, barn supplies, horsewear and riding needs for all disciplines of riding. New bar code tagging system - refer to website for all details. Consignors earn 75% of all sold and shop before public. Anything related to the equestrian sport is represented at this sale. Barn supplies, show clothing and more! Encourage all non-profit horse progrms and equestrian camps to be involved in buying and selling horse items. Large items such as carts, wagons welcome.
