The Flea Market is open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday. Each weekend, the Commercial and Education buildings, the Shoppes at Dorton and the outside grounds are host to hundreds of dealers, craftsmen, and booths.

3/31-4/1-2 Precious Gem & Mineral Show
CELEBRATING THEIR 41st YEAR at the State Fairgrounds, this show is sponsored by the Tar Heel Gem & Mineral Club and includes 29 dealers. The Club Demonstration area includes club members faceting, cabbing, chainmaking, wirewraping, bead stringing and gem tree creating. Club members will also provide lectures about minerals and demonstrationf of gem polishing, geoge cutting plus associated hobbies. The Hospitality area sells grab bags with mineral specimens. Some could contain a faceted gem. Tickets for the geode raffle, door prizes and rock candy are in this area. Buy a rock at the Geode booth and be the first to see what is inside. The on-going Silent Auction has new items every hour. Dealers provide minerals, fossils, finished jewelry, gemstones, findings and beads for sale.

1 World Beer Festival Raleigh
The 12th annual World Beer Festival Raleigh is proud to bring our event to the State Fairgrounds this year. With over 75 breweries participating from all parts of the country, this is the premier beer festival in the Triangle which no craft beer lover should miss. Attendees can sample from more than 250 beers in a variety of styles, along with a Food Truck Rodeo, Live Entertainment, Silent Disco and more! You can choose from either the 12-4 p.m. or 6-10 p.m. session and purchase tickets online here

Southern Ideal Home Show - Spring Edition
The show features hundreds of building, remodeling, kitchen and bath, landscaping, outdoor living and interior design companies. This three-day event provides homeowners with opportunities to shop, compare, and seek advice from professionals and see the latest in home improvement trends. 3 day 41st Annual NCAHA/ODAHA Dual Region Qualifing All-Arabian Horse Show. ReefSMART is an expo put on by the non profit Sustainable Reef and consists of vendors offering goods and services throughout the day, raffles drawn throughout the day, and fragging demonstrations in the late afternoon. Come learn how to make your own rock, or participate in a round table discussion on the hot topics in the hobby. Reefers on our local forums refer to ReefSMART as "a frag swap on steroids" or a "mini-MACNA". Doors open 11 a.m. with $20 admission between 11 a.m. - 12 Noon.
