4-5 North Carolina Junior Beef Roundup
Youth Livestock Show including steer and breed shows, showmanship competition, skill development, leadership development, and family activities that involve cattle. The North Carolina Junior Beef Round-Up is planned and run by a group of juniors from throughout North Carolina, their breed advisors, the Purebred Breeders Council, the North Carolina Cattlemen's Association and the NCSU 4-H and Youth Livestock Department. Event competition begins Saturday and Sunday at 7:30 am.

4-5 Old North State Antique Gun & Military Collector Show
Antique guns, U.S. and foreign military arms and memorabilia exhibited, bought, sold, and traded - WWI, WWII, Civil War, and other conflicts. Also includes relics, books, uniforms and insignias. Free appraisals. Hours are Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Admission is $6 for adults, $1 for children 7 -12 and free for children age 6 and under.

Dealers will offer a variety of gems, jewelry, crystals, minerals and beads for show and sale. Rare minerals, giant sharks teeth, and fossils will be on display. Hours are Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Free admission.

Carolina Roller Derby
Carolina Rollergirls brings back the fierce competition of flat-track roller derby in their 2011 season with a Double-header event, and this year at a new and earlier time!.

Doors open at 2:30 p.m. - Game 1 (TAI CHI-TAHS vs TRAUMA QUEENS) starts at 3:00 pm with two home teams going head to head in a continuation Carolina Roller Derby's oldest rivalry. Game 2 begins at 5:00 pm with the CAROLINA ALL-STARS facing off with TALLAHASSEE ALL-STARS one of many leagues from across the United States! 2 games for one low price. Buy in advance for ticket discounts, or purchase on game day at the Dorton Arena Box Office. .All seats are general admission. A family friendly sporting event!

Maker Faire: NC celebrates things people create themselves - from electronic gizmos to "slow made" foods and homemade clothes. At the Maker Faire: NC you will find equal parts craft fair, science fair, and world's fair rolled into one. Our goal is to resuscitate the spirit of American creativity and innovation. Classic Car Auction
The Raleigh Classic - four private collections offering more than 250 vintage vehicles.
You may preview the cars on Friday, June 24 from 8 a.m. to 10 am. Auction time on Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Adult $10 per day or $15 for a two-day pass.
