It's almost that time of year again and we're excited about the upcoming 2023 NC State Fair!  In mid-July, we will be seeking seasonal staff for the annual N.C. State Fair October 12-22, 2023. If you enjoy people, working in a fast-paced environment, could use a little extra cash and want to be part of the team essential to a safe and fun event, we need you!  

General Positions Available
Exhibit workers, judges, gate monitors, information booth workers, receptionists, ticket takers, ticket sellers, exhibit managers, gate assistant supervisors, gate captains, public address announcers, cash room supervisors, cash room tellers and competition managers. If referred for a position, a hiring manager will contact the applicant for a phone interview.

Law Enforcement Positions Available

State Fair Vendor Space

The Fair is no longer accepting applications for vendors.
There is a very low turnover for commercial space at the N.C. State Fair. We do look for unique products and services to add to the quality vendors already at the fair. The deadline was July 1, 2023.

Music Entertainment

We have completed our booking for music acts for the 2023 N.C. State Fair. Applications for 2024 will open in the spring of 2024.

Please note the N.C. State Fair only books acts with ties to North Carolina for the Homegrown Music Fest.
